Abstract

Recently, the city's key science and technology project "metal powder water (gas) atomization milling equipment" undertaken by Handan **company passed the expert acceptance, marking that the city's enterprises have made new breakthroughs in the research and development of metal powder manufacturing equipment. It provides reliable technical and equipment support for the production of my country's high-end metal powder industry.

The project undertaking unit organizes R & D personnel to conduct in-depth research on the high-pressure atomization mechanism of metal powder by using powder metallurgy, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and other related theories, and optimize the atomization process parameters that affect the morphology and internal structure of metal powder. After repeated tests, the key technical problems in high-pressure atomization production such as metal powder atomization process stability, powder morphology control, particle size distribution controllability, and oxygen content control are solved, successfully developed the first batch of domestic metal powder high-pressure water gas combined atomization pulverizing equipment. The complete set of equipment developed realizes the modularization of the whole machine structure, the clear control parameters, the pressure of high-pressure water can reach 120MPa, the metal powder produced has regular morphology, and the comprehensive performance index reaches the level of similar foreign products. The product prototype is used in enterprises in Guangzhou, Beijing, Henan and other places, partially replacing imported equipment, and achieving good social and economic benefits.
